HRI will host a one-day, by-invitation colloquium for the discussion of each faculty convener’s in-progress manuscripts (or equivalent research products). Conveners must be Harvard junior ladder faculty (appointed at the rank of assistant or associate professor) at the time of application and when the colloquium is held.
These colloquia provide opportunities for the dedicated discussion of unpublished work in a venue outside departmental, divisional, and school boundaries. Logistics for each colloquium will be supported by Radcliffe staff to allow the faculty convener to concentrate on the scholarly aspects of the private research event.
The Institute will award up to two grants per year to faculty applicants from a rotating list of eligible home divisions or schools of the University. We welcome applications centered in any thematic area and methodological approach.
